Annual General Meeting
The FYRU Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday November 12th, at Coco Beach. We would like to thank the Cape Pirates for graciously hosting this year’s FYRU AGM.
We trying something a little different for this year’s meeting. With Cape Pirates we are hosting a girls and boys sevens tournament in the morning followed by the AGM in the afternoon. Here are the details for the meeting.

Winter Sevens Series
A number of clubs have requested that we try a Fall/Winter Sevens Series. The idea is provide clubs with an opportunity to develop and introduce players to the game. Teams are encouraged to enter multiple teams and provide as many player the opportunity to play as possible.
- Sunday November 12th @ Cape Pirates (Combined with the FYRU – AGM)
- Saturday December 2nd @ — TBC – We are working with club at the moment to secure fields.
- Saturday December 9th @ Sebastian River High School
Tournament Entry Fees will be $50 per team. This will cover the costs The FYRU will be cover the costs of trophies ($100), referees ($15 per match) and USA Rugby sanctioning fees ($160). The host clubs have graciously been able to cover the field costs, we are trying to keep the tournament as low a cost as possible. I will send a separate email to everyone with all of the details on each tournament.
Please also note, if we have enough interest we will open a Middle School 7s bracket at each tournament as well. Team need to communicate directly to me if they are interested in
